Terms & Conditions

1. Seller

2. Products

We sell handmade full-grain leather belts, made to order. Because our products are handmade from natural materials, small variations in colour, grain and texture are normal and are not defects. Product images are illustrative.

3. Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in Norwegian kroner (NOK) or euro (EUR) depending on your selected region, and are stated on the product and checkout pages. LOISEL HANDEL is not currently registered for VAT, so no value added tax is added to your order. Any import duties or taxes that may apply to international deliveries are your responsibility (see our Shipping page).

We try to keep all prices accurate, but if an obvious pricing error occurs we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.

4. Orders and contract formation

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation by email. A binding contract of sale is formed when we send that confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be taken, or we suspect fraud — and to refund any payment made.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your order is processed once payment is authorised.

6. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out on our Shipping page. Delivery estimates are indicative and not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven), and we additionally offer a voluntary 30-day return period. Full details, conditions and how to exercise these rights are on our Returns & Refunds page.

8. Complaints and conformity (statutory rights)

Your purchase is covered by the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven). If a product is defective or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. You may make a complaint (reklamasjon) within a reasonable time after discovering a defect, and generally for up to 5 years for goods intended to last significantly longer than 2 years. To make a complaint, contact hello@ursaleather.com.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Norwegian law, or our liability for death, personal injury or matters that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as postal disruption, natural events or supply shortages.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) or bring the matter before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). EU-based consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order applies to that order. The current version is always available on this page.
