The Ursa team

Who are we

We're a small team of makers with a simple belief: everyday things should be built to last. What started as a weekend project in a home workshop has grown into a little studio dedicated to one honest product done well.

Every belt is cut, punched and finished by hand, one at a time. We keep our range deliberately small, and put our name on every piece we ship. No shortcuts, no filler — just craft we're proud to stand behind.

We're not interested in making a hundred different things. We'd rather make one belt exceptionally well — the kind you buckle up every morning without a second thought, that softens and darkens with the years and still outlives everything else in the drawer. Buy it once, wear it for a decade.

Find your size

Pick the belt size that matches your waist. Waist 90 cm? Choose the 90 cm belt. Five holes give you room either way.

Step 1

Use a belt you own

Lay a belt you already wear flat. Measure from the buckle fold to the hole you use most — that length in centimetres is your size.

Step 2

No belt? Grab a tape

Wrap a tape measure where you'd actually wear the belt, over your trousers and shirt, and note the figure in centimetres.

Step 3

Pick the nearest size

Between two sizes? Round up. The five holes give you ±5 cm of room either way, so you're covered.

Example: a 95 cm measurement → choose the 95 cm belt.

Good to know

How long until it's on my waist?

Each belt is made to order, so give us 3–5 days at the bench, then 2–5 days in the post — with tracking, so you can refresh the page obsessively. Free shipping across Europe.

Cognac or Dark Brown — help?

Same leather, same build, just the mood. Cognac is a warm reddish tan that ages like a good whisky; Dark Brown is the quiet one that goes with everything. Can't decide? Buy both — we won't tell anyone.

Will it survive real life?

That's the whole point. Thick full-grain leather and a solid brass buckle — this is a buy-it-once belt, not a replace-it-every-January one. Dogs, toddlers and overpacked gym bags included.

How do I keep it looking good?

Wipe it with a dry cloth and treat it to some leather conditioner every 3–6 months. Keep it out of long swims. It only gets better with age — unlike the rest of us.

What if my waist… changes?

Five holes give you ±5 cm of wiggle room either way — for the festive season and the comeback that follows. Need more range? We make custom sizes from 80 to 120 cm.

Can I send it back?

Yes — 30 days, unworn, full refund. If the size is off, we'll sort you out. No drama, no restocking-fee nonsense.

Custom orders

Want something a little different? We're a small workshop — just ask. Most custom work costs no more than a standard belt.

Reuse your buckle

Got a buckle you love? Send it over and we'll build a fresh strap around it, sized to you.

Order a custom buckle

Prefer a different finish or shape? Tell us what you're after and we'll source or make it.

Custom stitching

Pick a thread colour, or add contrast stitching to make your belt one of a kind.

Sizes & specials

Extra length, a different width, initials — if you can describe it, we'll tell you if we can make it.
